Who was it that found it acceptable to give Chris Brown money to perform at the Grammy Awards Sunday? And not once, but twice. And I use the word “perform” loosely in this instance.

St. Johnsville Police Department

• A Fort Plain man was arrested Friday evening for threatening a village resident over the phone, police said. Michael Souza, 28, of 176 Palatine Church Road, was charged with aggravated harassment and released on an appearance ticket.

• Jason C. Bonneau, 29, of 7473 Route 5, St. Johnsville, was ticketed for third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle Friday night, police said.
