Dangerously Beautiful Winter

This winter has me feeling weary. It's about the only thing I don't love about living here, and as much as I'm slightly jealous of people living in places where 50 degrees seems cold, I feel worse for the people who've never even seen snow.
As unrelenting as the cold can be, winter weather in its numerous forms -- the patterns snow and ice come to rest in -- can be breathtakingly beautiful.

Police Reports - 02/26/2015

New York State Police Department

-- The New York State Police Department investigated an accident in which a 14 year old snowmobiler drove onto Crum Creek Road, St. Johnsville, from the south shoulder of the road, striking a car traveling southeast. The operator of the snowmobile suffered minor injuries and was transported by GAVAC to St. Mary's Hospital, Amsterdam. The driver of the car, Judith Littrell, 47, of Amsterdam, was not injured in the accident.
