A Season for the Senses

Days are getting a bit shorter, the dark stillness of night threatening to encroach on what we've known for months as the late afternoon. The trees that decorate the hills all around us are in the process of dramatically changing their dressing before stripping it off altogether. For the first time in a while, a non-artificial chill moved through my home forcing me to reach for a blanket.
It all signifies one thing … it's finally fall ...

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office

-- Willene King Olson, of 58 Otsego St., Canajoharie, was charged Sept. 20 with driving while intoxicated, DWI of .08 or greater, and obstruction of view. A complaint was received about Olson allegedly driving while intoxicated. She was stopped for having items in her rearview mirror and was arrested after failing a field sobriety test, deputies said.
