Canajoharie

Dec. 20, 5-7 p.m. — The Canajoharie Volunteer Fire Department will hold a Pancake Supper with Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Firemen’s Hall, 75 Erie Blvd. Dinner includes pancakes, sausage, home fries, eggs, applesauce and beverage. Donation for adult is $6; children ages 6 through 12 is $3; five and under is free. Every child will have the opportunity to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus and receive a gift.

Arkell Center

Daily activities taking place at Arkell Center during the month of December 2012 will be as follows:

Monday through Friday — Noon meals are provided by the Meals of Montgomery Program (M.O.M.). Reservations are required by noon of the previous day. Call (518) 673-2000 or (518) 843-2300. Suggested donation is $3 for those 60 years of age or older.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 10:15-11 a.m. — Senior’s Exercise Program will take place with Bob Smith. Note that on Dec. 24 the program is cancelled.

Second Time Around Big Band practice is cancelled for December.

Note: Dec. 25 Arkell Center will be closed, as well as, the Meals of Montgomery Program for Christmas.

Dec. 27, 2-3 p.m. — The Alzheimer’s and Dementia Caregivers Support Group meeting will be held with Lisa Hubbard and is sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Association of Northeastern New York.

He will also answer questions pertaining to the village.
