-- Town Board of Minden Organizational Meeting Jan. 2

MINDEN -- The Town Board of Minden will hold their annual Organizational Meeting on Thursday, January 2, at 6 p.m. On the agenda are the first 6 resolutions of 2014: to set and establish appointments, to adopt the rules of procedure, to adopt investment policy and guidelines for investment, to authorize the town of Minden bookkeeper to pay utility, telephone, fuel and postage bills without prior audit, to adopt procurement guidelines and competitive threshold requirements, and to designate an official depository.

The town of Minden's next regular meeting will be held Jan. 16, 2014, at 7 p.m.

-- OESJ Board of Education to hold first 2014 meeting Jan. 8

Due to the New Year’s Day holiday on Jan. 1, the Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville Board of Education has altered its regular meeting schedule for January.

The board will meet on Wednesday, Jan. 8 at the high school and Wednesday, Jan. 22 at the middle school. Meetings will begin at 6:30 p.m. 

The board will resume its normal meeting schedule in February. 

The board regularly meets on the first and third Wednesday of the month. Meetings on the first Wednesday are held at the OESJ High School in St. Johnsville and meetings held on the third Wednesday are held at the OESJ Middle School in Oppenheim. 

All meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted.
