Cinder is a large 6- to 7-year-old neutered male gray cat. He arrived at the shelter on December 21. He's a huggable, lovable armful.

Nyah is an 11-year-old spayed female Pit Bull/Pointer mix, 45 pounds. She arrived at the shelter in January 2012. She knows the commands "sit, come, stay, lie down" and is leash and crate trained. She's good with some dogs. She has a very sweet and loving personality. Older kids only, please. She's not good with cats.

If anyone is interested in adopting either Cinder or Nyah, please call the shelter or visit the website: ayresanimalshelter.com
