Thursday, January 09, 2014 - Updated: 2:33 AM

ST. JOHNSVILLE -- Stephanie Timmerman, employee of the St. Johnsville Rehab and Nursing Center, won the facility's first-ever "Caught Caring" Award. She was selected at random from 36 entrants to win a $100 cash prize. She was nominated by Jessica Wall for "going above and beyond her job (duties) to help each resident everyday."

Caught Caring is a peer program dedicated to highlighting STJRNC values, which include trust, respect, and dignity. Any employee can be "Caught Caring" by demonstrating these values and enriching the lives of residents. All employees are eligible for nomination by staff, residents or family members. Ballots are available outside Human Resource office and will be displayed on the bulletin board until the next drawing.
