CHERRY VALLEY — Erin VanDewerker and Jeremy Seeley of Cherry Valley were united in marriage Aug. 18 in the presence of family and friends at the First Presbyterian Church in Cherry Valley.

The Rev. Ronald Fralick performed the ceremony and Gail Mabie was the organist. The Rev. William Wilson, uncle of the bride, read a special poem. The ceremony was followed by a reception at The Cherry Valley Community Center.

The bride is the daughter of Bruce and Michele VanDewerker of Cherry Valley, the granddaughter of Leonard and Charlotte Perry, also of Cherry Valley, and Douglas and Phyllis VanDewerker, of Westford.

The bridegroom is the son of Kelly Deaver of South Carolina, Kim Viele of Vestal, and Mark Seeley of Sidney.

He is the grandson of Marion Yerger of Sidney and Betty Robertson of South Carolina.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Cherry Valley-Springfield Central School and in 2010 she earned her master’s degree in education from SUNY Albany.

The bridegroom is a 2006 graduate of Bainbridge-Guilford High School and he is working toward his accounting degree at Herkimer County Community College.

Amanda Cade of Cherry Valley was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Kraham and Taylor Deaver, sister of the bridegroom.

Josh Cade of Cherry Valley was best man. Groomsmen were Curtis VanDewerker, brother of the bride, and Matt Seals.

The bridegroom’s sister and brother, Lauren and Kris Seeley, also had special roles in the ceremony.

The couple honeymooned in the Finger Lakes Region.
