Award winners announced

GLOVERSVILLE -- Mark Kilmer, president and CEO of the Fulton Montgomery Regional Chamber of Commerce, has announced the winners of the chamber’s 2013 awards, which will be handed out during the annual celebration and cocktail party Friday, Jan. 17, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, Comrie Avenue, Johnstown.

Tickets for the event are $75 per person and reservations can be made by contacting the chamber at 725-0641, or via e-mail at 

Chamber members, their employees and the public are invited to attend, which is a departure from the annual dinners of years past in that it will be a more festive atmosphere with networking as the focus.

Award winners include:

Small Business of the Year -- Seely Conover’s Office Centre, Amsterdam.

Centennial Chamber Business of the Year -- Tie: St. Mary’s Healthcare and The Leader-Herald.

Barbara V. Spraker Tourism Partner Award -- Pecks Lake Protective Association.

Agricultural Business of the Year -- Rogers Family Orchards Inc., Johnstown.

Chamber Family Award -- Heck Family (Alpin Haus).

Edward L. Wilkinson Industry of the Year Award -- Benjamin Moore Inc.

Thomas B. Constantino Entrepreneurial Award -- Christian Kleug, CMK & Associates Real Estate, Northville.

Young Professional of the Year Award -- Chuck Torres, The Geek Pantology, Amsterdam.
