Wednesday, January 15, 2014 - Updated: 9:51 PM

Canajoharie native Chad Michael Collins will guest star on the CBS drama “Blue Bloods” on Friday, Jan 17, at 10 p.m. The law enforcement drama centers around the Regan family, four generations of cops and soldiers headed by their patriarch, played by Tom Selleck.

Collins portrays young Marine veteran 'John Russell,' a decorated hero who has a hard time adjusting to civilian life upon his return from combat and crosses paths with Donnie Wahlberg’s veteran-turned-police detective.

Upcoming for Collins is Sony's "Sniper: Reloaded" sequel, which will see him reprise the role of Sgt Brandon Beckett. Collins will co-star alongside original "Sniper" franchise star, the Emmy-winning and Oscar-nominated Tom Berenger, who plays his estranged, legendary Marine father Thomas Beckett.
