Lindsey Lee Heiser weds Joshua David Hodge

Lindsey Lee Heiser, of Canajoharie and Joshua David Hodge, of Canajoharie were married, Sunday, September 1, 2013 at 4 p.m. at Glen Sanders Mansion in Scotia. Rev. Gail Wolling, of Syracuse, officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Jeffrey Heiser, of Canajoharie. She is the granddaughter of Sadie Dillenbeck and the late William Dillenbeck, Jr., of Fort Plain and Mr. Paul Heiser and the late Bernice Heiser, of Canajoharie. The groom is the son of Mr. & Mrs. David Hodge, of Canajoharie and the grandson of Mr. Rudolph Salvagni and the late Rose Marie Salvagni, of Canajoharie, Mr. Ronald Hodge of Canajoharie and Donna Raeder, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

The wedding was held under a gazebo along the Mohawk River. 

Violinist, Mr. Leo Milman, performed the music.  

The Maid of Honor was Arielle Mueller, of Clifton Park and the Matron of Honor was Kaley Dillenbeck Bonfey, of Mayfield.

Bridesmaids were, Stephanie Carrillo, of Los Angeles, California; Jenny Wheeler, of Orlando, Florida; Emily Heiser, of Canajoharie; Jessica Dillenbeck Wilson, of Canajoharie; and Angelina LoCascio, of Albany.

Best Men were Ryan Hodge, of Canajoharie and Joseph Kiefl, of South Carolina.

Groomsmen were, Bela Vonnak, of Waltham, Mass.; Thomas Hayden, of Boston, Mass.; Travis Heiser, of Canajoharie; Craig Rogers, of Johnstown; Cory Scanlon, of Liverpool; and Daniel McDermont, of Long Island.

Sofia Heiser, niece of the bride, of Canajoharie was the Flower Girl.

A reception for 200 people was held in the Ball Room at Glen Sanders Mansion.

Lindsey is a 2006 graduate of Canajoharie Central School and a 2010 Graduate from Post University with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology.  She will graduate in May from SUNY Albany with a Masters Degree in Social Welfare.

Joshua is a 2005 graduate of Canajoharie Central School and a 2009 Graduate from SUNY Oswego with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. He received his Masters Degree in Literacy from SUNY Albany and is a 4th grade teacher at Barkley Elementary School in Amsterdam..

The couple will honeymoon at Sandals in Whitehouse, Jamaica in February.

The couple resides with their Beagle, Muggsy, in Palatine Bridge.
