Flapjacks and Fairytales to be held April 14

ST. JOHNSVILLE — Plans are underway for the eighth annual Flapjacks and Fairytales Fundraiser to be held Sunday, April 14, at the H.C. Smith Benefit Club from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This event generates funds in two ways: First, the raffles for theme baskets. The baskets will be on display in the library, NBT Bank and the Little M and Judy King Insurance for up to one month prior to the event. The donors of each basket will be prominently displayed so the public will be aware of everyone’s generosity and community support.

The second way this event generates funds is a pancake breakfast. All of the theme baskets will be on display during the breakfast, and raffle tickets will be for sale until the end of the event. At the conclusion, the winners of the theme baskets will be drawn.

For the past several years, this popular event has not only provided important financial support for the library, but, has been fun for all who have participated.

Feel free to join with friends, family or other businesses, to group your basket. When the basket(s) are completed, you may call someone to pick them up. Baskets may also be dropped off at the library. Your basket must be submitted by March 1.

For further information, contact Rebecca Sokol at (518) 568-2849, or the library at (518) 568-7822.
