Voters head to the polls March 19

Thursday, February 21, 2013 - Updated: 9:14 AM

ST. JOHNSVILLE — When St. Johnsville residents go to the polls for annual village elections on March 19, they’ll be asked to elect officials to fill three offices: Up for grabs are two trustees’ seats and one village justice’s post.

Each office carries a four-year term.

St. Johnsville Village Clerk Karen Crouse on Tuesday said that incumbents James Castrucci and Martin Callahan each submitted nominating petitions for the two trustees’  positions, and newcomer Michael Battisti filed a petition for the justice seat.

The current village justice did not turn in a petition by the filing deadline.

Polls will be open at the Community House from noon to 9 p.m.
