BUEL — Erika Lynn Hawkins, daughter of Philip and Jane (Wheeler) Hawkins, of Buel, was united in marriage to Ryan Charles Groux, son of Larry and Claudia Groux, of Petersburgh.

A ceremony took place Nov. 4, 2012 at McKnownville United Methodist Church in Albany.

The bride is a 2006 graduate of Canajoharie High School. She is a 2009 graduate of the State University of New York at Morrisville with an Associate degree in Office Administration. Prior to her wedding, she was employed by Bassett Hospital at Hartwick Seminary Speciality Services (daytime), as a registrar and as resident Inn Keeper for the Landmark Inn (evening) in Cooperstown. She is currently employed with Medical Fiscal Management in Latham.

The bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Berlin High School. He is a 2003 graduate of Hudson Valley Community College with an Associate degree in Electrical and Construction. He is currently employed by Taconic in Petersburgh.

The couple currently reside in Berlin, NY.
