-- Benefit Glow Dance to take place March 28

ST. JOHNSVILLE -- A benefit Glow Dance to raise funds for Leann Marie Clark will take place at the St. Johnsville Masonic Temple, 24 Bridge St., on Friday, March 28. The event will bring in money for Clark to play soccer in Italy this summer. $3 entry fee. The dance will run from 6-11 p.m. Parents are free. Glow face paint and food will be available. Make sure to wear a neon or white shirt. Pure Entertainment will provide music.

-- OESJ Middle School Music Mash March 28

OPPENHEIM -- On March 28, at 6 p.m., the OESJ Middle School will present The Music Mash in the school gymnasium. The event will include all sixth through eighth grade students, student music groups, middle school faculty skits and a performance by the district wide faculty band. A 1 p.m. assembly will precede the evening concert. Please note, the district wide faculty band will perform only at the evening concert.

-- Wizard of Oz March 28-30

CANAJOHARIE -- The Fort Plain-Canajoharie Drama Club will present The Wizard of Oz on March 28 and 29 at 7 p.m. and March 30 at 2 p.m. at the Canajoharie High School. The Wizard of Oz is presented in two acts and there will be an intermission with refreshments for sale. Admission is $6, senior citizens are $4, and children under 10 are free.

-- Family Fun Day March 29

CANAJOHARIE -- On March 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Family Fun Day will take place at the East Hill Elementary School. The event features interactive activities provided by local organizations, pictures with the Easter Bunny, a bake sale, book fair, face painting, an Easter egg hunt, food, and more. All students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

-- 15th Annual Wild Game Feed to be held March 29

ST. JOHNSVILLE -- The H.C. Smith Benefit Club, 538 Crum Creek Road, will host the 15th Annual Wild Game Feed on Saturday, March 29, from noon to 6 p.m. The event will feature an all-you-can-eat buffet featuring a spread of unique wild game dishes. There will be free draft beer (until gone). The event will also feature chainsaw carver Rich Koonz, vendors, raffles and more. $15 donation required for admission for adults, kids 10 and under enter for free.

-- Village board to hold budget workshop April 1

FORT PLAIN -- The Fort Plain Village Board of Trustees will hold a budget work shop Monday, April 1, at 8:30 a.m. at the Village Hall, 168 Canal St., Fort Plain.

-- Spring Used Book Sale April 5-6

CANAJOHARIE -- A Spring Used Book Sale will be held at the Canajoharie Library on Saturday, April 5 and Sunday, April 6, from Noon to 4 p.m. There will be a huge variety of books available for all ages, at bargain prices, including cookbooks, children's chapter books, adult and young adult fiction, nature and science, biographies, health, and history. There will also be hundreds of CDs available, along with VHS tapes, which are buy one get one free. There will be special deals on many books. Donations of gently used items are always welcome. Drop off donations any time when the library, 2 Erie Blvd, Canajoharie, is open.

-- Trinity Lutheran Church to host April musical performances

STONE ARABIA -- Trinity Lutheran Church, Stone Arabia, Route 10, will host special music during the April 13 Palm Sunday worship service. At 9 a.m., there will be a performance by Jan and Chris, playing piano and flute.

On April 16, at 7 p.m., the church will also host special music during their evening Lenten service. Norma and Laura will provide piano and vocal music. Refreshments will be provided following the service.
