-- Lions Easter Egg Hunt to be held April 12

FORT PLAIN -- The Central Mohawk Valley Lions Club will be sponsoring their 39th Annual Easter Egg Hunt for the children of our community Saturday, April 12. The hunt will take place at Haslett Park near the bandstand at 10 a.m. with April 19  being the rain date at the same time and location.

There will be two different hiding areas for the eggs based on age. This helps to give everyone a chance to find at least one egg. As always, there will be one dozen golden eggs hidden at each area. There will be a special reward to those finding them.

In searching for eggs, the Lions ask the children to keep in mind the spirit of Lionism, which promotes cooperation and working together for the benefit of all involved.

The Lions Club is the largest service organization in the world, with their motto being “we serve.” Any questions regarding the Hunt can be directed to chairperson, Sue Leavitt at (518) 673-5482.
