Local businesses and groups invited to exhibit at 4th on the 3rd

Wednesday, April 02, 2014 - Updated: 12:37 AM

FORT PLAIN -- Plans are underway for Fort Plain's annual 4th on the 3rd celebration.

This year, the event will take place on Thursday, July 3, beginning at 2 p.m. in Wiles Park.

In order to expand upon the event, the Fort Plain Community Activity Council would like to invite all businesses, religious and civic organizations from Fort Plain, Canajoharie and St. Johnsville to join the celebration by hosting a booth. The FPCAC hopes this will give locals the chance to promote their organization, distribute information or conduct a membership drive or fundraiser, also providing an opportunity to showcase products and services.

If your group is interested in having a booth at the 4th on the 3rd celebration, all Fort Plain's Village Office at (518) 993-4271 or send an e-mail to

fortplainvillage@frontier.com for an application and information.

Even if you are not interested at this time, providing a contact address and e-mail will help the FPCAC to comprise a list for future use.

Questions can be directed to Event Chair James Katovitch at (518) 993-4693.
