NELLISTON -- A three-day investigation into the sale of crack cocaine in the village netted the arrest of two suspects Friday, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff's office.

Jonathon K. Dixon, 43, of 79 Robinson St., Schenectady, was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Nora E. Kinard, 35, 270 Mill Road, Cherry Valley, was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.

The sheriff's office was assisted by the countywide SWAT Team, which consists of deputies and Amsterdam Police Officers.

Deputies received information that crack cocaine was allegedly being sold out of a residence on Luft Lane. A search warrant was executed in the early morning hours, but police found that the occupants of the residence had vacated the premises.

Numerous rifles, including an AR 15, were found throughout the home and confiscated by Investigators, according to the release.

Investigators later located the suspects in a room at the Budget Inn Motel in Palatine Bridge. During a search of the room, Investigators allegedly recovered cocaine, marijuana and an undisclosed amount of cash.

The pair were arraigned in Palatine town court and remanded to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility. Bail for Dixon was set at $20,000 cash, and Bail for Kinard was set at $5,000 cash.

Both are to reappear in Palatine town court at a later date to answer the charges. Further arrests are pending.
