ST. JOHNSVILLE — Randy and Melody Congdon of St. Johnsville and Arthur and Lori Dockerty of St. Johnsville announce the engagement of their children, Genna L. Congdon to Michael J. Dockerty.

The future bride is a 2010 graduate of St. Johnsville High School and a 2012 graduate of Herkimer Community College. She is employed at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Albany. She is the granddaughter of Shirley and the late Richard Shannon of St. Johnsville.

Her fiance is a 2002 graduate of Fonda-Fultonville High School and a 2004 graduate of Herkimer Community College. He is employed at CSX in Selkirk. He is also the grandson of the late C. Vincent and Virginia Dockerty of St. Johnsville and Russell and Shirley Hoyer of Canajoharie.

An Oct. 19, 2013, wedding is planned.
