Senior Saints plan summer trips

ST. JOHNSVILLE -- Final arrangements for upcoming trips were made at the meeting of the St. Johnsville Senior Saints last week at the Community House.

Thursday, July 10 will be a bus trip to Cortland New York for the "New York State Country Hall of Fame," luncheon and show.

Monday, August 4 will be a "Day at the Races" in Saratoga New York.

Last Wednesday's meeting was attended by 46 members and was conducted by President Tom Croce.

The 50/50 prizes were awarded to Sally Thomson and Larry Hinkle.

Sign up was held for the annual picnic to be held at the H.C. Smith Benefit Club Saturday, June 14.

Sally Thomson announced that a number of cards had been sent to members.

Barbara Croce, activities director, made available sign up sheets for the NYSOFA annual picnic to be held in Fonda in September.

The next meeting of the Senior Saints will be held Wednesday, June 11 at 1:30 p.m. It will be the last regular meeting before summer vacation.
