WORCESTER — Mr. and Mrs. John Hren of Worcester announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica L. Hren, to William D. Regg, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. William D. Regg Sr. of Laurens.

The future bride is employed by the Department of Social Services in Cooperstown.

She is also the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard D. Perry of Cherry Valley, and the late Mr. and Mrs. John P. Hren and the great-granddaughter of Evelyn Hayes of Canajoharie.

Her fiance operates the Dairy Farm in Schenevus, which the couple own together.

He is also the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Fling and Frederick Regg.

A wedding is planned for Sept. 22 at the Best Western in Cobleskill.
