FORT PLAIN — The Shults Agency has earned an award for the best Allstate New Business Production in the New York and New Jersey region for 2011.

Agency President William MacLauchlin and Vice President Scott MacLauchlin credit this prestigious award to their devoted employees of both offices, at 3 Canal Street in Fort Plain as well as the Johnstown office located in the Briggs Street Plaza.   

Recently there was an addition to the locally owned agency — highly regarded sales employee Judy Austin. She holds the appropriate licenses and certifications for property and casualty as well as for life insurance, and has worked in the insurance industry for a total of 11 years.  

She is a welcome addition to The Shults Agency family.
