Max and Tamra Phillips to celebrate 50th wedding anniversary

NELLISTON -- Max and Tamra (Palmer) Phillips, of Nelliston, were married Oct. 10, 1964 in Olean, New York.

In honor of their 50th wedding anniversary, a celebration will be held with friends and family in Nelliston on Aug. 23. The party will be thrown by their children Mace Phillips, Sr. and wife Connie, of Fort Plain; Margaret, of Canajoharie; and Max Phillips, Jr. and wife Takako, of Sendai, Japan.

They have five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, with one more on the way.

The couple currently reside in Nelliston.
