STONE ARABIA — On Sunday, Nov. 11 (Veteran’s Day), there will be special music during the 9 a.m. worship service at Trinity Lutheran Church, Stone Arabia, located on Rt. 10, three miles north of Palatine Bridge. As the guest musician, twelve year old Misha Murdock from Amsterdam, will play his bagpipes.

Murdock plays with the Scotia-Glenville Pipe Band. In August, he went to the bagpipe competition in Glasgow, Scotland where his pipe band won the World Pipe Band Championship.

On Labor Day weekend, the band took first place honors at the Capital District Scottish Games in Altamont and finished off the competition season by winning the Celtic Classic held in Bethlehem, PA.
