HERKIMER — Alan and Andria Heath of Herkimer announce the engagement of their daughter, Jordan Marcel Heath, to Philip Joseph Schoff, son of Philip and Marcia Schoff of Fort Plain.

The future bride is a graduate of Herkimer High School and attends Manhattan College for peace studies and public relations, where she is student body president and a resident assistant.

Her fiance is a graduate of Little Falls High School and later played basketball for LeMoyne College. He now teaches global history and coaches JV basketball at Canajoharie High School.

He is the grandson of Judge Franklin and Gloria Wendell of Fonda.

An intimate ceremony is planned for June 27, 2013, in the family’s vacation town of Cape Ann, Mass., followed by an inclusive reception in upstate New York July 27, 2013.
