Catholic Daughters collect toys for kids, items for servicemen

-- Catholic Daughters collect toys for needy kids

FORT PLAIN -- The Catholic Daughters Court Catherine Esther #1264 collected Christmas clothing and gifts for the area needy children as one of the Court’s two Christmas Charitable projects this year. Members donated the gifts, which were collected at the November meeting and at the Court Christmas Party. The collection was taken to the Fulmont Community Agency in Fort Plain to be distributed before the holiday.

FORT PLAIN -- The Local Catholic Daughters Court Catherine Esher #1264 recently spearheaded a Christmas Collection of items to send to servicemen and women stationed in Afghanistan. The collection of 18 boxes was shipped on December 4 to two area servicemen, SSG Steven Krug and SPC Daniel Wohlgemuth.
