Police Report - 06/28/2012

Fort Plain Police Department

• Michael H. Wilson, 54, of 311 Foley Hill Road, Mohawk, NY, was arrested on June 14, charged with felony DWI, VTL violations and open container.

Wilson was stopped for a traffic violation and was subsequently arrested for DWI after a field sobriety test was administered. Wilson’s prior convictions raised his arrest to a class D Felony. An open container was also seized during the search of the vehicle.

• Mickey Miller, 63, of 70 Main St., Apt. C, Fort Plain, was arrested on June 20 for having unlicensed dogs.

Miller was arrested when officers discovered he had three unlicensed dogs in his apartment while investigating a complaint. Miller was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the Minden Town Court at a later date.

Miller was also arrested on June 21 when he admitted to filing a false report and making a false statement in regards to a trespass complaint. Miller was arraigned and sent to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in lieu of $300 cash or $500 bond.

• Jene P. Brown, 33, of 226 Main St., Fort Plain, was arrested on June 20, charged with second degree aggravated unlicensed operation.

Brown was observed operating a motor vehicle on Main St. and subsequently arrested. Brown’s license had been revoked for a prior DWI arrest, and she there were also outstanding tickets in the town of Florida. Brown was arraigned and released to appear in court.

• Kenneth Crouse, 32, listed as homeless, was arrested June 21, charged with second degree criminal trespass.

Crouse was arrested for criminal trespass when a complaint was filed that he entered an apartment without the owner’s permission and had been told not to in the past. He was arraigned and released on his own recognizance for a future court date.

• Dale Diotte, 41, of 152 Canal St., Fort Plain was arrested on June 21 for disorderly conduct.

Diotte was arrested when an investigation into a disorderly conduct complaint found him to have created a disturbance inside a church during a ceremony, causing alarm and inconvenience to the congregation. He was issued an appearance ticket for a later court date.
