Fort Plain Police Department

• Meagan Furbar, 22, of 21 Barclay St., Canajoharie, was arrested July 17, charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor.

Furber was found to be driving a vehicle which she did not have the owner’s permission to operate.

* Scott D. Nichols, 32, of 3 Crouse St., Fort Plain, was arrested on July 17, charged with having an open container.

Nichols was arrested for having an open container of alcohol while walking on the sidewalk of Crouse St. Nichols was ticketed and released to appear in Minden Town Court at a later date.

• Jesse Gomez, 26, of 11 Wheelock St., Canajoharie, was arrested on July 21, charged with third degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Gomez was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. During the interview, it was discovered his license was suspended. He was ticketed and released to appear in the Town of Minden Court at a later date.

• Krista Moore, 26, of 47.5 Division St., was arrested on July 24, charged with third degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and several counts for having a loose dog.

Moore was investigated for allowing dogs to run loose on separate occasions. When officers returned to issue her the appearance ticket, she was observed driving a vehicle while having a suspended license. She was stopped and arrested. After being processed, she was released on tickets to return to the Town of Minden Court.

• Sandra L. Bowley, 27, of 36 Division St., Fort Plain, was arrested don July 26, charged with disturbing the peace, a violation.

Bowley was arrested after she was yelling for several minutes. She could be heard clearly from a street over, and continued to yell until an officer arrived. Bowley is to appear in the Town of Minden Court at a later date.

• Joshua Tomlinson, 20, of 24 Stone Arabia St., Fort Plain, was arrested on July 26, charged with driving while intoxicated by drugs, a misdemeanor.

Tomlinson was stopped for a loud exhaust and a broken tail light. He admitted to authorities that he had recently consumed drugs. After sobriety testing, Tomlinson proved to be in an intoxicated state. After submitting to chemical testing, he was released to appear in the Town of Minden Court at a later date.

• Ronald W. Hogan, 23, of 70 Main St., was arrested on July 27, charged with third degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and failure to wear a seatbelt.

Hogan was observed operating a motor vehicle on Willett St. with no seat belt on. During the traffic stop, it was found that Hogan had a suspended license for failing to answer a summons. He was issued traffic tickets for a future court appearance.

• Debbie M. Oeser, 50, of 6089 State Highway 29, St. Johnsville, was arrested on July 28, charged with second degree harassment.

Oeser was arrested on an active arrest warrant after a complaint was signed by a family member alleging that she punched the victim in the face several times. Oeser was arraigned in the Town of Canajoharie Court, where an order of protection was issued and she was released on her own recognizance.

• Scott A. Smith, 50, of 6089 State Highway 29, St. Johnsville, was arrested on July 28, charged with second degree criminal contempt.

Smith was arrested for violating a Family Court Order of Protection after he was found in the same vehicle with the protected party. Smith was arraigned in the Town of Canajoharie Court and remanded to the Montgomery County Jail in lieu of $500 cash bail and $5,000 bond.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office

• A St. Johnsville man was arrested on forgery charges Tuesday because he stole an inspection sticker off of another vehicle at his place of employment, deputies said. Michael Augustio Putman, 30, of 94 W. Main St., was initially stopped after he was observed driving with an expired registration sticker, a report said. Putman was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, displayed forged certificate of an inspection, and both unregistered and uninspected motor vehicle. He was released on tickets.

• A 23-year-old Canajoharie resident was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Kory J. Failing, of 17 Erie Blvd., was released on tickets, and passenger Joshua Leach was arrested for possession of a hypothermic needle, deputies said.

• An Ames teen was charged for allegedly altering his driver’s license after deputies responded to a one-car rollover in St. Johnsville on July 7. Lucas M. McLaughlin, 18, of 7388 Route 10, was charged with second-degree forgery and released pending a trial at a later date.

• A 52-year-old Fort Plain man was arrested for second-degree harassment after making verbal threats toward another person, deputies said. Derrick D. Daignault, of 498 Route 80, was released on a ticket.

St. Johnsville Police Department

• Christopher Gritzbach, 38, of 30 Church St., St. Johnsville, was arrested on July 16, charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

Village Police arrested Gritzbach after receiving a complaint he had acted in an injurious manner toward a female juvenile during a family gathering. He was issued an appearance ticket and remanded to Montgomery County Correctional Facility on a parole warrant.

• Collene F. Brownell, 40, of 44 Division St., St. Johnsville, was arrested on July 14, charged with DWI and a traffic infraction.

Police arrested Brownell after a traffic stop was conducted for a traffic infraction and she was found to be operating a motor vehicle with a BAC greater than .08.

• Charles M. Bruno, 47, of 3 Monroe St., St. Johnsville, was arrested on July 22, charged with aggravated harassment.

Police arrested Bruno after receiving a complaint he has left threatening telephone messages on a residential answering machine and cell phone voicemail. He was issued appearance tickets and released.

• Tanya M. White, 34, of 22 Winton Lane, Dolgeville, was arrested on July 25, charged with operating with a suspended registration, and having an uninspected motor vehicle.

Village Police arrested White after a traffic stop was conducted for driving the wrong way on a one-way street. A DMV check of her license and vehicle registration showed she was operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration.

• Crystyl Mohrlock, 24, of 38 Main St., Gloversville, was arrested on July 22, charged with third degree aggravated unlicensed motor vehicle operation and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Village Police arrested Mohrlock after she was observed operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and was in possession of marijuana.

She was issued appearance tickets and released.
