Police Report - 09/20/2012

Canajoharie Police Department

• Abraham J. Hawver, 31, of Palatine Bridge, was arrested Sept. 1, charged with driving under the influence, with a blood alcohol content greater than .18, drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle and second-degree menacing.

Police officers received a complaint from downtown business Tony’s Pizzeria, alleging that Hawver was drunk and hostile to employees. They then received subsequent reports that Hawver was driving around, waving a shotgun, and threatening people.

Hawver was issued tickets to appear in Town Court on Sept. 24.

St. Johnsville Police Department

• Jennifer L. Scripter, 38, of 123 W. Main St., St. Johnsville, was arrested on Sept. 6, charged with criminal trespass.

Village Police arrested Scripter after receiving a complaint she had entered a residence unlawfully and without the consent of the owner. She was arraigned and released to appear in court at a later date.

• Michael S. Alicky, 56, of 5 New St., St. Johnsville, was arrested on Sept. 4, charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

Police arrested Alicky after receiving complaints that hew as growing marijuana plants at his residence. After interviewing Alicky, police observed him attempting to discard a plant. Alicky turned over the plant, a marijuana pipe and a small quantity of marijuana. He was issued an appearance ticket and released.
