Police report - 11/22/2012

Fort Plain Police Department

• Charles Martin, 18, of 30 Willett St., Fort Plain, was arrested on Nov. 10, charged with unlawful possession of alcohol under the age of 21.

After receiving a complaint, officers found Martin in possession of alcohol. He was processed and released at the scene.

• Faith A. Borst, 47, of 23 River St., Apt. 1, Fort Plain, was arrested on Nov. 15, charged with excessive noise, a violation.

After receiving a complaint, it was determined that Borst intentionally played her music at an unreasonable level to annoy others living in her building.

• Randy L. Rulison, Jr., 32, of 123 Montgomery St., Canajoharie, was arrested on Nov. 16, charged with speeding in a school zone, unlawful possession of marijuana, and second degree aggravated unlicensed vehicle operation.

After making a traffic stop for speeding in a school zone, it was discovered that Rulison was driving with a suspended license with seven active suspensions for failing to answer past summons. Upon arrest, he was found to be in possession of marijuana.

• Wesley A. Alexander, 51, of 88 Main St., Fort Plain, was arrested on Nov. 18, charged with second degree aggravated unlicensed vehicle operation.

Alexander was stopped and found to have four active suspensions for failing to answer summons from as far back 1996.

St. Johnsville Police Department

• Frank Chapman, 53, of West Main St., St. Johnsville, was arrested on Nov. 7, charged with fourth degree criminal possession of stolen property and seven counts of petit larceny.

Village Police arrested Chapman after receiving a complaint of a stolen credit card. Chapman was found to be in possession of the stolen credit card and had made seven purchases over the course of a three month period. He was arraigned and remanded in lieu of $2,500 cash or $5,000 bond.

• John G. Doxtader, 27, of 114.5 East Main St., St. Johnsville, was arrested on Nov. 7, charged with fourth degree criminal possession of stolen property and eight counts of petit larceny. Village Police arrested Doxtader after receiving a complaint he was in possession of a stolen credit card and had made eight purchases over the course of a three month period. He was arraigned and remanded in lieu of $2,500 cash or $5,000 bond.

• James M. Leon, 35, of 23 East Main St., was arrested on Nov. 9, charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

Village Police arrested Leon after receiving a complaint stating that he had picked up and thrown a 7-year-old child against a kitchen cabinet. He was released on an appearance ticket.

• Steven Dixon, 33, of 2 Leisure Place, Sauquoit, NY, was arrested on Nov. 10, charged with second degree aggravated unlicensed operation.

Village Police arrested Dixon after he was observed operating a motor vehicle with a suspended NYS driver’s license.

• Jessica Fallis-Thomas, 33, of 34 West Main St., St. Johnsville, was arrested on Nov. 10, charged with third degree aggravated unlicensed operation. He also had a bench warrant out for his arrest for failure to pay a fine.

Village Police arrested Fallis-Thomas after she was observed operating a motor vehicle with a suspended NYS driver’s license. Fallis-Thomas was picked up in the morning, at 10:10 a.m. on an active bench warrant returnable to the St. Johnsville Village Court. She was arraigned and released.

• Mary Wilson, 47, of 6763 State Highway 29, St. Johnsville, was arrested on Nov. 10, charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and failure to keep right.

Village Police arrested Wilson after a traffic stop was conducted and Wilson was found to be in possession of marijuana.

• Noah J. Hopson, 22, of 467 Dillenbeck Road, Little Falls. was arrested on Nov. 10, charged with third degree aggravated unlicensed operation, uninspected motor vehicle, unregistered motor vehicle, unsafe lane change, failure to keep right, unsafe tires, and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Village Police arrested Hopson after he failed to navigate a right-hand turn. A check of his license showed he was operating an unregistered motor vehicle with a NYS suspended license. During the arrest, Hopson was found to be in possession of marijuana.

• Carlie J. Schaffner, 27, of 32 Division St., Fort Plain, was arrested on Nov. 11, by Village Police on a Village of St. Johnsville bench warrant for failure to pay a fine. He was arraigned and released.

• Stanley L. Hayes, 27, of 55 West Main St., St. Johnsville, was arrested on Nov. 11, charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and an equipment violation.

Village Police arrested Hayes after a traffic stop was conducted and Hayes was found to be in possession of marijuana.
