TROY -- Each one of them bathed in sweat on a muggy last Thursday night at Joe Bruno Stadium, the Fort Plain Hilltoppers leaned on the railing of the third base dugout, looking across the diamond as the Voorheesville Blackbirds erupted in the celebration the Hilltoppers had been hoping to have themselves since well before this season began.
