In support of Santabarbara

To the editor:

I am writing in support of Angelo Santabarbara’s candidacy for the NYS Assembly. I have been a constituent of Angelo’s for about five years and have been impressed by his record. He understands and constantly talks about one of the biggest issues for most families: the need to lower taxes. He also understands that the residents of the community need services. He is not out there calling for the elimination of taxes at the expense of eliminating programs. Mr. Santabarbara has figured out a way to combine the public’s need for services with the needs of families to keep taxes low. His approach has provided a great benefit to all of us.

It is for these reasons that I was happy to sign a petition for Mr. Santabarbara for him to run on the Lower Taxes Now line on the ballot. Mr. Santabarbara has consistently walked the walk. Many politicians talk about lowering taxes — Mr. Santabarbara did it. I look forward to seeing the impact he will have on the state budget.
