Spring training March 5 and 6

FORT PLAIN -- On Saturday, March 5 and Sunday, March 6, boys and girls are invited to attend spring training at Fort Plain Jr./Sr. High School and the Harry Hoag Elementary School with Bob Cook of Field Dreams Sports Complex and the Fort Plain coaching staff.
Spring training will feature hitting, pitching, fielding and base running. The schedule will be as follows:

Canajoharie places seventh in bowling

SCHENECTADY -- Damian Sullivan rolled a six-game set of 1,105 to help Canajoharie place seventh in the Section II Class C-D Tournament at Boulevard Bowl on Tuesday.
Sullivan had a 223-554 in the morning and came back with a 203-551 in the afternoon.
Canajoharie tallied 4,786 pins. Hoosick Falls won the event with 5,297 pins followed by Fort Plain (5,229).
Cian DiMezza helped Canajoharie with a 1,030 six-game set.

CANAJOHARIE -- The Fort Plain boys basketball team shot out of the gate like a rocket Friday night against the Canajoharie Cougars, and while the Hilltoppers' momentum slowed in the second half, they could still count on the senior duo of Jon Calbet and Ryan DeLaurie to come through in the clutch.
