Fans can already feel the excitement as they can sign up for pre-sale tickets at LadyGaga.com. The general public will have the opportunity to purchase tickets starting on Friday, August 4. The shows will take place on various dates, including August 31, September 2-3, 6-7, 9-10, 28, 30, and October 1, 4-5.
This announcement comes shortly after Lady Gaga paid tribute to her friend and music legend, Tony Bennett, who sadly passed away on July 21. Lady Gaga expressed her sadness and appreciation for their time together, further highlighting the significance of her return to the jazz genre.
In another intriguing revelation, it has been disclosed that Lady Gaga requested to be referred to as “Lee” while filming her role as Harley Quinn in the movie “Joker: Folie a Deux.” She even stayed in character when the cameras weren’t rolling, immersing herself entirely into the role. Cinematographer Larry Sher initially struggled to establish a connection with the singer, but once he adapted to her preferred name, their bond grew stronger.
The commitment to staying in character was not exclusive to Lady Gaga. Her co-star, Joaquin Phoenix, who played the titular role in “Joker: Folie a Deux,” also remained in character on set. Phoenix apologized to Sher for any peculiar behavior, mirroring Gaga’s dedication to their craft.
Lady Gaga’s return to the jazz era is sure to captivate audiences once again, as she showcases her extraordinary talent and passion for music. With her upcoming residency shows, fans are in for a thrilling experience as she takes them on a journey celebrating the history of American music.
